20: Is this important to our lives Survival will be difficult if we constantly try to dominate and destroy one another because of our natural diversity. Since we all exist within the same community of life, doesn't it make sense to exist in peace? We all have different definitions of what a healthy existence is. We all have different approaches to a peaceful existence. Our natural diversity prohibits us from relying on the same solutions and leadership. However, we all have the common goal of a peaceful and healthy community of life. The diversity of life doesn't march toward peace according to the beat of a single drummer. The question we need to ask ourselves is who our drummer is and where the beat is leading us? Are we choosing means of peace? Are we choosing to live peacefully within the community of life? 19: Should we think about globalization The realization that we all live in the same community of life has been called globalization. It has resulted in a tidal wave of peace in recent history. Medical experts are sharing information with each other across all borders. Scientists are working together to understand global problems and mysteries. The course of globalization has no specific destination. It can be influenced both peacefully and through means of war. We have the means to sit peacefully at an abundant table while sharing information, telling jokes and feeling secure. When will we choose to end a war of all against all and exist in peace? 18: Will we still have value
We can see our efficiency everywhere we look. We don't need as many farmers because efficient agricultural experts have the ability to maintain huge crops. We don't need as many laborers to work in factories anymore because machines and computers do most of the work for us. We don't need as many individuals to work at banks, stores and businesses anymore because individuals can now access numerous services online. Isn't it possible that we will have enough intelligence and technology in the distant future to do everything through the efforts of only one-percent of our population? What will the other ninety-nine percent of the population do? Will one percent of the population be superior while ninety-nine percent of the population is inferior? Will we simply need to educate and train ourselves to be part of the one-percent club or accept our fate as inferior members of life? 17: Are we only a resource for use in war Is economic value the only value of existence? Should a child be forced into hunger, thirst or illness for not being strong enough to fight within an economic war of all against all? Are people valuable if they request a living wage, health benefits and respect for peace within the community of life? What would you do if your family didn't have enough value to purchase water? Economic domination promotes fear, war and violence. 16: We have the ability to exist peacefully Why would we want to organize global economics as a war of all against all? Engaging in war doesn't solve our economic problems. Engaging in war maintains and facilitates the problem. It has been repeatedly demonstrated throughout history that humans can maintain an abundant means of survival without war. It just depends upon what our goal is, who our leaders are, and what choices we make. We have the ability to maintain legitimate governments, fair markets, and healthy environments. We can exist within a beautiful and diverse community of life. We also have the option of destroying it through means of war. It is our choice to make. 15: Which way will we go Economic efficiency should be justification for a worldwide celebration. There will always be problems to solve, but we have the ability to live within a healthy and abundant circle of life. The possibilities and beauty of life await us. Peace will allow us the time and resources to create wonderful outcomes in the fields of science, technology, entertainment, transportation, communication, education, comedy, medicine and countless other areas of our existence. Why should we exist in a state of war when we have the ability to spend more time with our families, our passions and our life? We need economic experts to maintain and harvest the means of survival. We need companies and individuals to find innovative ways to advance the condition of our existence. It shouldn't be a crime to be successful and wealthy, but it should be a crime to make money the only value of everything's existence. Imagine a tribe of early humans realizing the benefits of existing together in peace. Many farmers would harvest food for the tribe. If the farmers got better at what they did, some farmers might not be required in the harvest effort. These individuals could become leaders in other areas of life. However, the remaining farmers would have a choice to make after the harvest. Do they honor the spirit and goals of peace or do they keep the harvest for themselves within a war of all against all? If the other tribal members are not
allowed to eat, they will have little success in becoming leaders in
other aspects of life. Unfortunately, dominators seem to have
no interest in the overall results of their decisions. Brilliant
scientists, gifted doctors, incredible entertainers, caring teachers
and many other future leaders find themselves too hungry to chase their
dreams. While the dominators feast, the tribe has no reason to
celebrate. |
